Joanne Cummings has written an interesting piece on Storage Area Networks (SAN). She has some insightful views that I hold too about are we storing too much data. The part about storing data on paper being more effecient is amzing, who would of thought that?
Joanne goes on to talk about the future of Storage Area Networks, siting a few specific products but there are others available in the market. What I want you to continually say to yourself while looking at your storage is, Do we really need this data? Am I storing this in an efficient way? Am I just pushing a problem a few months down the line?
